When Bad Things Happen to Good Actors by Ian McWethy and Jason Pizzarello 

A group of students is trying to perform a one-act version of The Wizard of Oz, but things keep going wrong. From parents interrupting, actors coming on in the wrong scenes or reciting lines from a different play, the technical staff making odd alterations to the sound effects, and more... will they get through the play? Find out in this hilarious one-act comedy! 

 

You Complete Me by Jan Peterson Ewen 

Dr Madd has developed the technology to reattach a reanimated cryopreserved head to a new body - which body will the newly awakened victim...er.. patient choose? 

 

Ghost Explorers by Jan Peterson Ewen

A team of paranormal investigation streamers are investigating a haunted mansion, when Casper the friendly ghost starts playing with them, will they be brave enough to stay the night? 

 

Bunkmates by Jan Peterson Ewen

Jessie meets the monster under her bed - will this end like the end of her horror story, or could they come to an agreement and maybe even be friends?

The Ketchup Bottle by Tony Devaney Morinelli

Two friends argue about acceptable behavior, sparked by one's annoyance at another peeling the label of a ketchup bottle.

 

Some Assembly Required by Ruben Carbajal

When roommates cannot figure out how to correctly assemble their dresser from a certain Swedish furniture company, they call the help line, but the advice causes some unforeseen and possibly dire consequences. Will they - or the world - survive?! 

 

A Talkback by Patrick Greene

Once in a while, after the actors have taken their final bows, the audience of a play is given the opportunity to interact with an actual, living playwright. But talkbacks don't always go as planned, and sometimes a writer can face difficult questions, and hungry theatregoers that demand more than the playwright is willing to give.

A malignant alien virus takes hold of several vessels traveling through the farthest reaches of the solar system. What will become of those onboard?

Auditions December 16, 17, & 18

6-8pm @ Barrington Middle School​​​​

About our auditions:

  • Please prepare a 1 minute monologue of your choice

  • Auditions are comprised of Games, Improv Activities, Monologues, and Readings from scripts.

  • All registered actors WILL be cast.

    • Auditions are about fitting the actors to parts that will suit them.
      We strive to give each actor something that they feel confident in, and will have fun with, while challenging them to grow.

  • Please plan to attend AS MUCH of the auditions as you can.
